My consulting services directly relate to improving performance, either in sport or life. Beginning with an assessment of the needs of individuals (adults and teens engaged in athletics) and possibly families of teens, I assess where improvement may be made. The primary issues considered include:
- the type of thought habits
- the level of self confidence
- the amount and type of motivation that you use
- if and how you’re able to focus and concentrate
- what tools you use to manage anxiety around your performances
Finally, we develop an action plan, which includes rewards for each improvement made. I often use the book, “Relaxation and Stress Management Workbook” by Davis, Eshelman, and McKay through New Harbinger Press. The book is available through Amazon.
